Science at Our Lady's
Our Vision… is to develop pupils’ enjoyment and interest in science and build on their enthusiasm, encouraging children
to treat the living and non-living environment with respect and sensitivity.
How...Science is taught weekly using a variety of teaching styles with the aim to encourage the children to develop observational skills
and ask and answer scientific questions. Science skills are developed throughout each year group to equip children with knowledge
and a systematic approach to their learning.
Enthusiasm for science is developed through regular visitors and trips, such as to The Catalyst Museum, and through our 'Science Week' where science is the focus of teaching and learning throughout our week.
