Our School Day

8.35am	Gates opened, children come onto playground area.
8.45am	Doors opened and whistle blown; children line up then are led into class – 8.45-8.50am.
8.50am	Door locked (If you arrive after this time you should enter the school via the main entrance and sign the ‘late’ register); prayer, registration and dinner selections; short, sharp Maths fluency session; Session 1 = Phonics and Reading Comprehension; session 2 = English.
10.45am	Morning break.
11.00am	Morning break ends; Celebration of the Word activity followed by session 3 – Maths.
11.50pm / 12pm	Prayer then Lunch for EYFS / KS1.
12.20pm	Prayer then Lunch for KS2.
1pm / 1.05pm	Lunch finishes for KS1 / KS2; teaching session 4 starts – various.
2pm	Afternoon Break for KS1.
2.15pm	Teaching session 5 starts – various.
3.15pm	Prayer then school ends. Children are collected from their classroom doors / Key Stage doors. After school clubs run until 4.15pm or 4.30pm depending…
